I have to say that this is the game I am looking forward to, a 2D side scrolling action game. But I often get lost while playing, especially after falling into a garbage dump. Without mini maps and task guides, it's easy to feel lost and at a loss. The shadow used to indicate blind spots in the field of view sometimes makes it difficult for players to see clearly whether there are enemies. Looking forward to future updates
Thanks for the feedback! What a coincidence, I'm right now working on a manual for the main story (which is currently available). The game is currently maximally unfriendly and I realize that, to some extent the difficulty is artificial, but that's because there's no content yet, so in order not to be able to fly through the game quickly in some places it's complicated (and in some places I just couldn't write the code humanly).

I think for the next update I'll rework the shadows, because they really are too much of a nuisance.

Minimap is not planned yet. But now an interesting idea came up, you can put the drawn maps on the floors, then it will turn out immersive even. Perhaps by the next update I will realize it
By the way, do you think adding the jumping function will encounter any difficulties? Jumping can improve the experience of exploring floors. Jump and dodge have already been added. It's a bit crooked, but they are necessary for a large “corruption”, when there are a lot of enemies, and in the battle with the boss. And with the combination of a kind of bunnyhop.
You can get to the jump if you go to the top floor and open the locked door deCoder, then go down the ventilation shaft and from there in a room with a large number of enemies, on the left side of the toilets will be a costume for porn scene and next to the mutator for the jump, which is activated by pressing the “space bar” or “numpad 2”.
And the dodge is in the pit, where the high-speed elevator, if you go down to the ledge, there will be a platforming element, which without jumping can not pass, when you jump there, there will also be a new suit (but so far without a porno scene) and a mutator on the dodge, which is activated either by “shift” or “numpad 1”

Maybe I put the jump mutator too far away. All in all, I know what you mean. In the next update, I'll try to either give you jumps right away or put the mutator right after the cutscene in the junkyard.

Now I'm wondering if I should put a transition from the junkyard straight into the play area so I don't have to run around to save time.

Supposedly the opponents aren't very strong, if you spam a basic fist attack, they should die without coming out of stun. I think the difficulty is due to the short range of visibility, which many people have already written to me about. I changed the visibility today, and now the enemies can be seen earlier (And in general, you can see more different areas), so the player should feel freer on the map.

My design is extremely abstract, so write if something is not satisfactory and I will try to fix it. Dash will greatly simplify and speed up the game, that's why it's hidden, and when you find it, you'll start bunnyhop around the map
Basically, if you want to play with all the abilities and not have to search for them, you can press “P” in the game and you'll have everything available right away. (cheat)
